Earlier today we shared the news about the name of the featured village in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, and then this afternoon during a repeat screening of Solo: A Star Wars Story we heard it referenced by one of the main characters!
If you don’t want to know any more then we’ve not given anything away — yet!
If you’re still here we’re assuming you want to know more, here goes…. As L3-37 and Lando lead Beckett, Solo, Chewbacca and Qi-ra to the Millennium Falcon (just after Lando negotiates his 25% cut), L3 is talking and references Black Spire by name. She says something like “you couldn’t even find Black Spire without me”. This is obviously not a coincidence, and it shows how closely Lucasfilm and Disney are working to tie Batuu into the Star Wars galaxy.
More Easter Eggs and references from Solo can be found here. Let us know if there’s anything else that’s been missed.
