Between running around trying to do a few last minute things and packing up, sadly, we didn’t get a chance to attend “The Force Among Us” panel on Sunday afternoon, but I had the fortune to bump into Cris as we were both leaving Excel and he was kind enough to give me the lowdown on how things went.
The Force Among Us crew just returned from Celebration Europe.
Cristian and Cortney Macht (Directors/Producers/Writers of the film) said that Celebration Europe was their favourite Celebration yet – and they had attended all 5 of them.
Their panel took place on Sunday at 4:00 pm at the fan stage and a few hundred fans were in attendance. They talked about their soon to be released documentary, played footage from the film, showed production stills, and answered questions from the fans. At the end of the panel they signed autographs for the fans. The film was well received by the European audience. London has a lot to do with the film makers inspiration behind the documentary. It was a place Cristian Macht had visited many times for Star Wars events including meeting George Lucas at Celebration Day in 2005.
