Star Wars comes to my hometown of Westcliff-on-Sea (Essex) tomorrow night in the form of a Star Wars Pocket Model Tournament using the game made by the Wizkids company. The tournament is being run by James Ball the owner of Gillatt Games Clubs that have recently started up in many areas around Essex (Westcliff, Shoebury, Hadleigh, Wickford & South Woodham Ferrers).
James has got in touch, and asked us to pass this news on to you…
“Tomorrow night between 7 and 9:30pm at the Trinity Methodist Church Hall, London Road, Westcliff-on-Sea you can take part in a Star Wars Pocket Model Tournament. Don’t worry if you’re new to the game as James ensures me that there will be a tutorial for new players. There will also be a sale of Star Wars collectables as well as a prize for best Star Wars costume.
Entry is free for anybody in Star Wars costume or else it’s £3 for Members of £5 for Visitors – everybody will get a FREE Star Wars Pocket Model booster.”
If you’re able to go, have a great time and let us know how you got on in our forums.
