Sources: Pedro Pascal In Negotiations For Lead Role In The Mandalorian Series

Last month it was rumored that actor Pedro Pascal was being considered for a lead role in writer Jon Favreau’s upcoming live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian. Sources at Variety as well as Entertainment Weekly and The Hollywood Reporter are doubling down on this by reporting that Pascal is currently in negotiations for the lead role in that series.

Pedro Pascal has been tapped to star in the “Star Wars” TV series “The Mandalorian,” which is expected to premiere on the Disney streaming service, Disney+.

Pascal’s name had previously been rumored for the role, but sources say he was one of many actors being considered. Now, insiders tell Variety that he has been offered the role and negotiations are underway.

The Mandalorian will be coming at some point to Disney’s new streaming service Disney+ (an official premiere date has yet to be announced). We continue to wait for an official casting announcement from Lucasfilm/Disney pertaining to Pascal’s inclusion in the TV series.
