Official high resolution images from Season 1 Chapter 6 (streaming now) of The Mandalorian Disney+ series have hit the web for viewing. Titled “The Prisoner” and directed by Rick Famuyiwa, this cameo-filled episode introduces viewers to several new characters including comedian Bill Burr as the blaster-toting Mayfeld and Natalia Tena as a purple-skinned Twi’lek named Xi’an.
We learned of Burr and Tena’s casting in the series a few months ago.
Mark Boone Jr. is included in the series as Ran Malk and Clancy Brown, the voice of Savage Opress in The Clone Wars animated TV series, plays a heavyweight Devaronian character named Burg (check out this post by Brown on Twitter). And speaking of The Clone Wars, another actor from that series makes an appearance in Chapter 6 – The Chosen one himself Matt Lanter plays a Republic officer (peep this tweet) and to cap it off, The Mandalorian directors Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, and Deborah Chow join the action as a trifecta of skilled X-wing pilots.
Talk about one hell of a powerhouse episode!
