Best news of the day, Del Rey confirm that they will indeed be releasing The Making of Return of the Jedi by Jonathan Rinzler in autumn 2013, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the third Star Wars epic.
In Jonathan’s own words…
“Random House has announced, so now I can: The Making of Return of the Jedi is a go. Starting research next week… Pub date: fall 2013.”
Del Rey editor Erich Schoeneweiss gave his thoughts on the announcement.
“This was really a no brainer. Jon is going to get started with all the preliminary research pretty quickly. We’re planning on publication of the book, which should mirror the hardcover packaging of the first two, in October 2013.”.
