First up the COVID-19 update….
Rancho Obi-Wan, Inc. is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is member supported and does not receive funds from any national organizations, government grants, or loans. Funds raised are used for essential operating expenses such as insurance, utilities, professional services, maintenance on the buildings, rent of warehouse space, and protection and preservation of the collection. None are used to acquire collectibles.

As a result of the current coronavirus pandemic, we have had to cancel all live events for 2020, including guided tours of the museum, and our annual Fundraising Gala. This significant loss of revenue makes it a difficult challenge to raise the necessary funds required to meet our operating expenses.

In order to continue to use the collection to inspire, to share the Rancho Obi-Wan fan experience with you, and to raise the necessary funds to meet our operating expenses, we are launching a new ‘Virtual Museum’ section on our website. Rancho Obi-Wan Virtual Museum is a subscription-based service similar to Patreon. Every month we will release new content to the various subscriber levels, including photos, videos, events, behind the scenes stuff, and interviews with Steve Sansweet.
Virtual Museum subscription fees are treated as virtual tour tickets, like in-person tour tickets, and not tax-deductible. Memberships, as a tax-deductible contribution, will continue the same. Only Members will be allowed to visit us, only Members will get Celebration line-jump passes, only Members will get the annual Membership Kit.
