Nerdist has posted an exclusive excerpt from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Stories of Light and Dark anthology from Disney Books. This latest preview taken from the segment of the book titled “Kenobi’s Shadow” places the spotlight on Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi during the events of The Clone Wars Season 5 episode “The Lawless”.
Earlier this month StarWars.com posted an excerpt from the audiobook edition of the publication featuring Sam Witwer stepping behind the microphone as Maul.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Stories of Light and Dark (384 pages) is out today and can be purchased from Disney Books at this link.
This excerpt from “Kenobi’s Shadow” story focuses on Obi-Wan. Specifically from The Clone Wars‘ fifth season episode “The Lawless.” Obi-Wan arrives on Mandalore grumbling about the flaws of Anakin’s ship to find Satine in prison—I’m already experiencing Feelings because I think I know where this goes. Anyway, this excerpt goes into the characters’ heads to enrich what we’ve already seen on the screen. Enjoy… as much as you can, given the outcome.
