Bryce Dallas Howard directed the most recent episode of The Mandalorian, Chapter 11 – The Heiress, and in it is an Easter Egg paying homage to her father Ron Howard’s film Apollo 13.
A fan noticed the Howard-related Easter egg on Twitter, posting clips from The Mandalorian and Ron Howard’s sci-fi drama Apollo 13 side-by-side. “Like father, like daughter!” they wrote. “Don’t think I didn’t catch that awesome homage paid to your dad!”
Bryce confirmed that the striking similarities between the two scenes were, of course, deliberate. “Nice catch!! 100% correct,” she replied.
