Star Wars: Eclipse Dev Responds to Delay Rumours

A spokesperson for Quantic Dream has addressed the recent rumoured delays for Star Wars: Eclipse, the story-driven action-adventure set in a galaxy, far, far away. The rumoured delay was based on the company having trouble hiring additional staff to join the development team, even though the company made it clear the game is still in very early development.

In an interview with GamesRadar, a spokesperson for the company fired back at the delay rumors, stating that the game couldn’t have possibly been delayed, as it never had a release date to begin with. They went on to say that the recruitment process remained active and uninhibited, citing that the company has seen a workforce growth of 50% in 2021, and that job postings, such as the allegedly unfilled senior positions, can be deceiving.

With no release date set, we will have to wait patiently for more news on the game in due course.
