In his forthcoming book ‘COSPLAY: A HISTORY – The Builders, Fans, and Makers Who Bring Your Favorite Stories to Life’- on sale 28th June 2022 from Saga Press – he explores the history of cosplay in a photo-filled historical and cultural exploration of costumes and fandoms. It’s packed with original photography and looks at this ever-growing fandom and conventions, its roots in 15th-century costuming, the relationship between franchises and the cosplayers they inspire, and the technology and skill that brings even the most intricate details in these costumes to life.
