The 2022 Captain Rex charity medallions from the Pennsylvania Star Wars Collecting Society (PSWCS) have sold through, and thanks to your generosity they were able to present a cheque for $6,430.00 to No Hero Left Behind at the end of August.
Thank you to everyone who purchased a 2022 limited-edition Captain Rex Medallion to support No Hero Left Behind. On August 28, 2022, PSWCS.org and PSWCS members were able to present a check for $6,430.00 to No Hero Left Behind. No Hero Left Behind was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from the Star Wars community. To everyone that purchased a medallion to support this year’s charity, we appreciate you and thank you.
No Hero Left Behind is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides support to Veterans in Western PA. No Hero Left Behind’s goal is to end Veteran homeless and reduce Veteran suicide by helping, honoring, and housing our Nation’s Heroes and underserved. No Hero Left Behind does this by providing housing resources, job opportunities in their community, basic need care packages, creative education workshops, and military tribute banners for homeless and at-risk Veterans.
The limited-edition medallion was fully approved by Lucasfilm and had an edition size of 1000 pieces. Each medallion features the likeness of Captain Rex on the front, along with the year and the name of the charity, No Hero Left Behind. Captain Rex, a lifelong soldier and veteran in the Star Wars Saga, deftly represents the heroes and warriors being supported by this year’s medallion. The back features the PSWCS logo.
