To celebrate the Disney 100 anniversary, the company will release a selection of films in 4K Blu-ray Steelbooks including the Original Trilogy Star Wars films, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, on May 2nd, 2023.
These releases are not expected to have any new content or contain the sought after original cuts of each film.
The new Star Wars Steelbooks can be pre-ordered now on the Best Buy site in the USA. No word where these will be released in other territories, although in the UK we expect to see them at either Zavvi or Amazon.
