Lucasfilm Publishing announced some exclusive reveals, news, and sneak peeks at the Star Wars: The High Republic panel on the Galaxy Stage at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 in London on Saturday, April 8.
Host of StarWars.com’s The High Republic Show was panel moderator Krystina Arielle who was joined by authors Claudia Gray, Lydia Kang, George Mann, Daniel José Older, Cavan Scott, and Charles Soule as well as SVP of Franchise Content and Strategy at Lucasfilm James Waugh, and Lucasfilm Publishing Creative Director Michael Siglain.
The announcements included:
- A warm welcome to the newest Star Wars: The High Republic story architect: award-winning author Alyssa Wong
- Exclusive “Night of Sorrow“ visual
- Never-before-seen spreads from Daniel José Older’s manga Edge of Balance: Precedent,
- Full story & character line-up from Tales of Light and Life (OSD: 9/5), the forthcoming SW: The High Republic YA anthology of short stories by Zoraida Córdova, Tessa Gratton, Claudia Gray, Justina Ireland, Lydia Kang, George Mann, Daniel José Older, Cavan Scott, and Charles Soule
- Full list of upcoming High Republic novels including publishers, authors, and titles through the first wave of Phase III “Trials of the Jedi” (Nov. 2023 – Spring 2025)
