First off, THANK YOU to everyone! The X-LADIES’ PRESALE was amazing, and although there was a hiccup due to damages; everyone came through to get them reprinted and we are stoked to get them out as soon as Betsy arrives.
I’ve been waiting to do this guy for some time. It’s awesome to see Star Wars continue to create new, amazing characters. From the moment I saw him, I wanted to paint him. As things developed, I was also afforded the opportunity to do another cover for the series that I could NOT pass up. I want to keep it a secret, but I think you’ll dig it. It’s a character that works perfectly for my NEGATIVE WASH series (like the purple EMPEROR, blue ANAKIN, etc).
Since it’s taken some time to get all the approvals, I feel like it would be unfair to only offer MANDO with this SECRET cover; so we are adding a BUNDLORIAN option to the PRESALE. This will include both the MANDALORIAN NEGATIVE SPACE & SECRET NEGATIVE WASH cover. If you are only interested in MANDO, totally cool. However, if you’d like to get BOTH, you have the option with the BUNDLORIAN. Unfortunately, the SECRET cover will only be available in the BUNDLE. 48 Hours…
Like before, there will be a 48 hour window where you can purchase as many books as you would like, without the fear of the books selling out. Within that 48 hours, you can visit my site ON YOUR SCHEDULE (with love to our international fans) and purchase books. If you choose not to participate in this PRESALE sale, we will still have the PUBLIC and PRIVATE sale, which will occur after we receive them.
We will be communicating throughout this entire process, so you will be up to date on when the books arrive, how they look, when grades will be available, and when to expect shipping to begin.
Grades…
At this time, we are only offering raw books. However, CGC GRADED books will be available during the PRIVATE and PUBLIC sale! We don’t want to sell any books we can’t GUARANTEE, so we won’t be able to sell grades until we get the books and are able to have them screened.
When will the books arrive from the printer…
These two books are scheduled to arrive around the end of JULY. Once we receive them, it will take about a month to verify damages and get the number of grades back from CGC. Hopefully putting our time frame of having the PUBLIC & PRIVATE sale around the middle of SEPTEMBER.
With the help of the PRESALE sale, we will be ordering quantities accordingly. IF there is an unreasonable amount of damages, or we can not fulfill the GUARANTEE sale orders, we will have to request reprints. If this occurs we will notify everyone and set a new schedule for when you will receive your orders.
Bundle Up…
It really makes things smoother to offer bundles at this time. However, with the approval process of the SECRET cover, it doesn’t seem fair to gate off the MANDO cover. We’ve worked everything out so that the MANDO cover will be available on its’ own, while the SECRET cover will only be available in the BUNDLE. They will both be available, individually, during the PUBLIC and PRIVATE sale later in the year. But, during this particular PRESALE, you can get as many MANDO and/or BUNDLES as you’d like.
Early Shipping…
One of the other benefits of the PRESALE is the ability to send the books out early! Since we will already have the PRESALE orders ready, we will be able to begin shipping within several days of the PUBLIC sale.
Schedule for the Rest of the Year…
With what we’re experiencing, this model has the possibility for PRESALES to occur before the PUBLIC & PRIVATE sales of previous books. We still plan on only having 3-4 sales per year, but due to the turnaround time from ordering books, potential damages & shipping them out. We may need to stagger some sales. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO KEEP THINGS SEPARATED so you don’t feel overwhelmed. The idea is if you always buy during a particular sale, you should be looking at around 3 months between each.
Combining Raw & Grades (INTERNATIONAL ONLY)…
Because Lori is the BEST, she has agreed to merge orders for INTERNATIONAL customers who buy RAW books during the PRESALE, and still want to get GRADED books. If you are outside the US and would like to take advantage of this, please EMAIL us at
