Destination D23: New Encanto and Indiana Jones Area in Development for Disney’s Animal Kingdom

At Destination D23, Disney confirmed that DinoLand, U.S.A. in Animal Kingdom will be going away, and teased its replacement with a new land focusing on the tropical Americas, showcasing a mix of Encanto and Indiana Jones theming, rides, restaurants and shops.

Bruce Vaughn, Chief Creative Officer at Walt Disney Imagineering, joined Josh D’Amaro, Chairman, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, on stage to discuss and tease this new project.

No other information was shared except that the teams are working hard to finalise plans.

With this, could Indiana Jones replace Dinosaur, it would certainly make sense!

All the panels and magical announcements are being live-streamed on YouTube, Facebook or via D23.com/DestinationD23.
