The auction for the 1979 Kenner Star Wars Rocket-Firing Boba Fett (Mailer) J-Slot (V2)/2 Missiles Action Figure sold through Goldin for a staggering $1,342,000, making it the highest price ever paid for any toy, action figure and non-prop Star Wars item.
Someone had very deep pockets, and this speaks to the continued interest in Star Wars memorabilia and the distinct role this specific item plays as as the single most important action figure in the hobby.
Happy hunting!
