LEGO Icons Celebrates a Legend of the Skies with the Douglas DC‑3 PAN AM® Airliner

The LEGO Group today unveils the LEGO Icons Douglas DC-3 PAN AM Airliner, an impressive new building set created for fans of aviation history, with early LEGO Insiders access from April 1st and landing for all from April 4th.

This collectible model invites builders to journey back into the golden age of air travel, recreating the legendary 1930s twin-engine aircraft that helped shape commercial aviation.  With 1,903 pieces, the set captures the DC-3’s unmistakable silhouette and includes an authentically detailed cockpit and passenger cabin, complete with aisle and seating. A standout functional feature is the retractable landing gear, operated via a simple dial.

Adding to its display-worthy appeal, the model includes four exclusive minifigures: a pilot, purser, stewardess and flight attendant, all wearing historically inspired PAN AM uniforms. Once complete, the aircraft can be showcased on a sturdy display stand with an information plaque, alongside a dedicated PAN AM-branded minifigure display, making it a prized collectible for aviation and LEGO enthusiasts alike.
