What? Football on a Star Wars fan site?
Well, I’m sure it ain’t the first time and it won’t be the last
Scottish Football fans have took to chanting young player Brad McKay‘s name to the tune of the Imperial March!
BRAD McKAY is lapping up the Star Wars-themed chant dreamed up by imaginative Jambos on the road to Inverness.
And the Scotland Under-21 defender isn’t taking the Sith when he says Hearts’ young side won’t get Darth Mauled by champions Celtic at Tynecastle on Saturday.
McKay, who has played only nine senior games for the club, had to do a double-take as the 1500-strong travelling support sang his name to the sound of the Imperial March from the epic sci-fi franchise.v
The 20-year-old said: “My first thought was, ‘Surely that’s not my name they’re singing.’ It was a bit of a shock.
“It’s a bit strange hearing your name being sung but it’s good fun and I’ve heard a few other decent new songs for the boys lately.
“I’m not a Star Wars fan but I might think about getting into it now.
Not a Star Wars fan??? Quick Lucasfilm, remedy that, send him a care package!!!
