During at interview with Athena Yvette Portillo, producer of Maul: Shadow Lord, Collider’s Maggie Lovitt asked if a second season of the animated show was in the works and it seems that its continuation might be down to how fans react to the first season.
“We have other things in development and in progress, not necessarily related to the show. So again, it all depends on whether the fans really do want another season, and then we’re all for it.”
If you enjoy Maul: Shadow Lord when it launches with the first two episodes on April 6th on Disney+, then we need to let Disney and Lucasfilm know that we want more. Also, it will be interesting to see what other Star Wars animated show are currently in development.
