Enclosed are some images taken during my vacation to Tatooine in SWTOR, enjoy!
Tatooine would probably be my favorite location to depart to when the weather turns cold and wet. An area called Camp Karnori is wonderful; filled with unique characters and Jawas, and just outside of there, see a view of a wonderfully sun-drenched vista.
Tatooine is also filled with droids of all shapes and sizes – as a big fan of droids, this is my ideal place to meet new ones.
Getting around the vast area would require a speeder. You could journey by foot, but it would hurt and take a very long time!
If you venture far north of Camp Karnori, you will find yourself in a sticky situation, as there’s an exhaustion zone (which is extremely dangerous) right between you and the area you would like to travel to – most likely Anchorhead, which has the Spaceport.
As you can see in the photos, there’s beautiful architecture. Smooth sandy buildings with rounded columns and roofs. It feels very rustic, gentle, and warm. The way the harsh sunlight beats down on the buildings and creates long shadows emphasizes the designs of the architecture.
I love the cantina here, just as you approach it you can hear the music thumping outside and it feels very alive – all while the bright sunlight is beaming down. The interior of the cantina itself also features many rounded designs.
Of course there are always incidents, crime, accidents… as you can see.
The sand dunes are majestic in their movement and the curves created remind me of musical bars. You can go exploring for hours across the giant landscape. Sometimes you stumble across peculiar and unexpected sights.
It’s warm, fun, and full of places to go whether you want to relax or do activities. Make sure you try some Blue Milk while you’re here on your vacation!
