I was on vacation this past week at Walt Disney World, and I came across some rather unique Star Wars collectibles that fans may not have heard about.
In case you didn’t know, there is a new wristband system at the theme parks for accessing the park, if you stay at one of the onsite resorts. This wristband is personalized and pre-programmed with all kinds of cool features, including park admission, room key, meal plans, and FastPass+ selections. Our experience was very smooth, and the new MyDisneyExperience app allowed us to change passes on the fly, make dinner reservations right from my smartphone, and access other info such as wait times, park hours, interactive maps, and all kinds of cool stuff.
But this being Disney…the wristbands can be jazzed up with flair, including several Star Wars related items. There are 2 sets of charms, a slider, and a set of 3 covers that are available in certain gift shops. If you are planning a trip in the near future (say, for the upcoming Star Wars Weekends?), and you want to get some unique collectibles, keep your eyes peeled for these during your visit.
