Fantasy Flight Games announces Star Wars®: Force and Destiny™

A roleplaying game of Force-sensitive characters and epic adventures set in the Star Wars® universe

Roseville, MN – February 9, 2015. Today Fantasy Flight Games announced the upcoming release of the Core Rulebook for the Star Wars®: Force and Destiny™ roleplaying game.
The struggle to restore balance to the Force takes center stage in the Force and Destiny roleplaying game. As powerful Force-sensitive characters striving to bring justice under Imperial rule and searching for the lost remnants of the Jedi Order, players take part in epic adventures and perform extraordinary deeds, all the while battling against Imperial adversaries and the temptations of the dark side.
The heart of any Force and Destiny campaign is the 448-page Core Rulebook, beautifully illustrated with original art to immerse players fully in the Star Wars universe. It contains all the information that players and GMs need to launch a Force and Destiny roleplaying campaign, from instructions for character creation and a catalogue of gear to chapters on the Force and the conflict between the Jedi and Sith orders. It concludes with a ready-to-play adventure, Lessons from the Past, that GMs can use to begin a campaign.
Force and Destiny is a complete and independent roleplaying system, but it is also fully crosscompatible with our other two Star Wars roleplaying games, Age of Rebellion™ and Edge of the Empire™. All three games use an easy-to-learn mechanic built around custom dice that facilitates storytelling and provides for exciting, action-packed gameplay.
The Core Rulebook is currently scheduled to be available in the third quarter of this year.
