Yesterday evening Team Jedi News met at Disney’s European HQ in London, along with some of our friends from the UK Star Wars community, for an exclusive showing of the last three episodes of season one of Star Wars Rebels on the big screen. We were also lucky to be joined by Femi Taylor and Paul Bateman.
It was a fun evening and we also got to see a preview of some of the new products coming to Disney Store for May 4th and beyond. Look for the third series of 12 trading cards in store for Star Wars Day which feature images from Return of the Jedi. More news on other products soon including their next 12″ scale talking figure – judge him by his size you must not!
Big thanks to Charlotte, Evren, Hayley, Stephen and everybody else at Disney for putting this on. We hope this will be the first of many exclusive Jedi News screenings and next time we hope to be able to invite some of our readers along too – watch this space!
This also marked the last time that Team Jedi News got together before Star Wars Celebration and marks the start of our countdown to the event – we leave in 12 days! In the picture above (from left to right) is Brian Cameron, Mark Newbold, Matt Booker and James Burns along with two Stormtroopers supplied by the Disney events team.
