It’s the last day of the 2016 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar – and what a fantastic year it’s been – probably the best yet!
Today we get Chewbacca in a festive guise, presumably covered in snow with his bandolier decorated in red and green holiday accents. Whilst the mold may be the same as recent Chewbacca releases, he’s obviously been painted very differently. He comes complete with his stud shooting bowcatser which fires snowballs instead of bullets!

For those that wanted an all white minifigure torso and legs you get that too, although mostly hidden by the head piece that goes over the torso. The head/torso piece is printed on both sides. The bag contains 15 pieces, 13 are used, leaving 2 remaining.

Here’s a picture of Chewbacca sitting on the sleigh from yesterday. Chewbacca can also wear the ice skates from yesterday too.

There seems to be a lot of extra parts over this year – the count is over 50 pieces, shown below. Wonder what some creative person could come up with JUST using these pieces? If you have a go, show us your creations – there may be a prize in it for our favorites!

Thanks to the LEGO CEE team for all their help and support in 2016, and for enabling Jedi News to become a LEGO User Group (LUG). Also, thanks to Norton PR for their continued help and support with all things LEGO too. Happy holidays all, and here’s to a brick filled 2017!
