Tiya Sircar Reddit AMA

Earlier in the week Tiya Sircar, Sabine Wren in Star Wars Rebels, took to Reddit for an AMA session….

Hi, friends! Tiya Sircar, here. You may know me better as that demon from the Bad Place with a righteous sense of entitlement. Or perhaps as a Google intern with a questionable penchant for hentai and Star Wars cosplay. If not that, maybe as your friendly, neighborhood Mandalorian who has a mild obsession with explosives and a serious flair for the dramatic.

A bit more about me: I’m an actor, dancer, and food & travel enthusiast. I love a good pun/joke though I’ve been told I’m not great at making either (rude!). I have a weakness for animals, dirty martinis, and online shopping. I’m pumped to be here answering your questions – ask me anything!

P.S. My new show– Alex, Inc.– premieres on TODAY, March 28th, on ABC at 8:30 pm EST. I sure would love for you to check it out!

She answered lots of Rebels related questions, including….

Hey Tiya! Just wanted to say I love all your and the cast of Rebels work! If you don’t mind, I have a couple of questions that I thought would be cool to know regarding Rebels.

1. Is there any particular hair color or even style you wished to have seen from Sabine?
2. What was your favorite season appearance of Sabine? (Armor color scheme/hair color)
3. What was your favorite episode and why?
4. What is your favorite thing about Sabine?

Again, thanks for answering if you do!

Thank you!!

1. I hadn’t thought about that until someone else just asked on this AMA but I think maybe a cool punk mohawk in a pretty color. I love the dichotomy of Sabine being a badass warrior who blows things up but also an artist who loves beauty and aesthetics. So doing a mohawk in a soft, feminine color would be a cool way to incorporate that.

2. Season 3, hands down.

3. Trials of the Darksaber. It was the most challenging, the most emotional, the most special (for me personally). And as a viewer, hmm, maybe Jedi Knight. It was stunning, in every way.

Trials of the Darksaber was probably one of the best emotional and well acted moments in the whole franchise. Great Job, You were amazing!
