The latest Star Wars collection from Columbia Sportswear goes on sale later today, December 1st, and they sent us the Skywalker Pilot Ski Jacket and Skywalker Pilot Pullover from The Skywalker Pilot Collection to review.
As daily wearers of Columbia Sportswear’s non-licensed fleeces and coats, we continue to be impressed with the quality and attention to detail on these Columbia Star Wars inspired products. Their advanced thermal-reflective lining in the Skywalker Pilot Ski Jacket offers incredible warmth in such a thin and lightweight offering, whilst the heavyweight cotton-blend fabric of the Skywalker Pilot Pullover ensures enhanced durability. Both garments sent to us include hidden Star Wars details, as well as an embossed Rebellion emblem on one of the left-hand sleeve of each long-sleeve garment.
The Skywalker Pilot Ski Jacket (MSRP: $350) – This mountain-ready ski jacket is ready for the slopes and features waterproof-breathable fabric and advanced thermal-reflective lining. Star Wars details include hidden blueprint graphics of R2-D2, and the T-65 X-wing Starfighter with messages in Aurebesh.
The Skywalker Pilot Pullover (MSRP: $150) – A special-edition hooded pullover built for everyday adventures. The heavyweight cotton-blend fabric offers wear-anywhere durability. Fan-favorite details include graphics of either a T-65 X-wing Starfighter or T-47 Airspeeder/Snowspeeder on the back with messages in Aurebesh.
We appreciate these garments are expensive, but the quality speaks for itself, and we love the way they incorporate subtle, and not so subtle, Star Wars details. These are a must buy for fans of a galaxy, far, far away and are likely to sell out quickly, as soon as they go up for sale later today.
