Our good friends at Cartamundi USA have been gracious enough to provide me with a few sets of their Star Wars Ralph McQuarrie Original Concept Art Playing Cards, which were made available to purchase this past summer in the UK.

From the back of the packaging:
Ralph McQuarrie had a major influence on the overall look of the original Star Wars movies. George Lucas commissioned Ralph to illustrate scenes from the script for the film and Ralph also designed many of the film’s characters, including Darth Vader, Chewbacca, R2-D2, and C-3PO and illustrated many concepts for the film’s sets. This deck contains 55 original illustrations showcasing the wonderful art that went into creating Star Wars.
Big thanks to Cartamundi for sending over this amazing new deck!
