The Express & Star newspaper today reported that the site of the Helix factory from between 1955 to 2004 in Stourbridge, UK is now up for sale and it looks highly likely it will be turned into a waste depot.
Helix is a name etched onto the memory of many Star Wars collectors and a name that has probably been part of all our childhood and adult lives through school and business stationery. The site in question is most probably where most of the original Star Wars stationery sets from the late 70’s were manufactured.
