At the end of last month, EFX Collectibles and other licensees attended an exclusive Partner Event at Skywalker Ranch, in San Francisco, to learn more about the upcoming Star Wars: Starfighter movie, scheduled for release on May 28th, 2027.
These summits are quite normal, allowing partners to get a glimpse at props and specific story elements, allowing them to start development of products for release inline with the movie. This process takes 18-24 months, and this event took place almost exactly 19 months out from the film’s release.
