On this day, ten years ago: the 501st Legion made history by marching as personal honor guard for George Lucas (at his request!) at the 2007 Tournament of Roses Parade. Over 200 troopers flew in from around the world, and for five days it was like a Star Wars united nations. Not only that, but the Legion has since become _the_ recognized Star Wars fan organization. And I was marching on only one good leg! 🙂
To commemorate, I’m doing a small run of personal Tenth Anniversary George Lucas Rose Parade Honor Guard patches.
