Hasbro’s debut HasLab crowd-funding collecting initiative was a rousing success to say the least as the backer count for Jabba’s Sail Barge in Vintage Collection packaging closed at nearly 9,000 last night. Given the $499.99 price and the minimum 5,000 backer number required to officially green-light this project, it was a job exceptionally well done by the Star Wars collecting community.
Congratulations once again to the entire team at Hasbro and to everyone who was willing/able to back this project since its announcement at Toy Fair NY. And just a reminder to those who were not able to secure a barge, unfortunately the only way you might be able to obtain one moving forward will be via the secondary market.
