The Hasbro HasLab Jabba’s Sail Barge crowd-funding initiative has reached the minimum number of 5,000 backers with 4 days left (currently 5,031 at 18:46 GMT)! Any guesses how many more backers this will get before April 3rd?
CONGRATULATIONS to the entire team at Hasbro, their PR agency and everyone that backed the Barge. The biggest ever Star Wars item from Hasbro will ship early next year.
The April 3rd deadline still applies for those living in the US and Canada, and the ONLY way for you to get the Barge if you live in those territories is to head on over to the HasLab site and #BackTheBarge before the cut-off date.
Hasbro have assured us that those living in the UK and some other territories will also be given the opportunity to buy the Barge — with Jabba, the exclusive Yakface and book — albeit in limited quantities. As soon as we have more information on that we’ll share it with you.
After 35 years of waiting The Khetanna is coming home — well done all!
