During the Mattel Collector Event that was held in February at Toy Fair NY, attendees were able to get their first “in-hand” look at three of the new Hot Wheels Character Cars based on characters from Solo: A Star Wars Story. We saw the designs chosen by Mattel for Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Lando Calrissian.
Nerdist has a collection of carded and loose photos of these Character Cars posted on their site (their article does not contain a carded photo of the Han car). They also state that collectors will be able to purchase additional Solo Character Cars of Qi’ra, the new Range Trooper, Moloch, and the mysterious Enfys Nest later on this summer.

Each Hot Wheels car is 1:64 scale, and can either run on Hot Wheels tracks or be displayed in and out of package. Han, Chewbacca, and Lando are available now, to be followed later this summer by rides for Qi’ra, Range Trooper, and the mysterious masked Enfys Nest and Moloch. We’ll never tell you the odds of finding any given one, though, because Hot Wheels go as fast off the shelves as they do on plastic race tracks. And at $3.99 each, they’re among the most affordable Star Wars collectibles around.
