Jedi News reader Joshua R. sent along the photo on the left of a new Hot Wheels C-3PO character car in The Force Awakens packaging. I added the photo of the C-3PO car that has been available to purchase for some time now on the right to show the cardback and numbering differences.
Now I don’t have the world’s greatest eyes, so I cannot tell if there are any distinct differences between these two C-3PO releases (aside from the new artwork used on the cardback of course). It looks like the Episode VII car has a more muted gold color scheme, but that could also just be a byproduct of the photo that was taken of the car.
If anybody has come across this Episode VII car and can compare it to the initial C-3PO car for differences, please let me know!
