To kick off the festivities of NYCC 2017, Hasbro held a small press gathering a few blocks from the Javits Center that featured the return of the Star Wars Mighty Muggs line. The setting was casual with a few other media outlets gathering around for a roundtable discussion with members of the Hasbro Star Wars development team.
There will be a total of 50 figures released in this line, covering both Star Wars and Marvel characters and split into equal numbers of roughly 25 from each franchise, with each costing $9.99. Every figure includes three different facial expressions that can be rotated out by pressing down on the top of the head. The figures come with sturdy plastic packaging that allows them to easily be stacked on top of each other. Look for these Mighty Muggs figures to land in stores sometime in January 2018 (and yes, there will be retailer exclusives).
