Orbitkey have announced their new Disney Villains Urban Sling Limited-Edition Collection featuring Cruella, Hades, Maleficent, Scar and Ursula on their own Urban Sling (4L), limited to 1,000 pieces per design.
Orbitkey introduces five limited-edition designs into the Disney | Orbitkey collection, and this time the story is told from the other side. The Sling (4L) Villains Edition gives Cruella, Hades, Maleficent, Scar and Ursula a bag each, coloured from the character, with a custom lining and the Disney Villains logo inside. Each design is limited to just 1,000 pieces.
Most Villains fans have one character they quietly side with. Most villain merchandise is either a costume or something to keep on a shelf. This collection is meant for an ordinary weekday, with your keys clipped to the hardware and your wallet zipped in against your back. It launches ten days out from Halloween, and it was designed to stay in rotation long after.
Cruella gets crimson. She stands on the front in black and white, all fur coat and attitude, next to the Disney | Orbitkey co-brand. Turn the bag around and you’ll find a single Dalmatian pup tucked into the corner of the back panel, which feels about right. It’s the boldest of the five. Wear it over anything black or white and the outfit is done.
Hades runs hot. The body is deep navy and smoky black, and electric blue flames climb the lower corner of the back panel. The same blue turns up on the zip pulls. On the front, he’s mid-flourish with both arms in the air. From across the street it reads as a dark navy sling. Up close, the flames give him away.
Maleficent is the only villain in the set with a neon green strap, and it is very hard to miss. The body is deep black. She appears on the front in violet, staff raised, and her flames curl across the back. Cross-body over a dark jacket, the strap does most of the talking.
Scar comes in burnt orange and deep brown with sharp black detailing, pulled from the colours of the savanna and the lion himself. He prowls across the front panel, and the dark tuft of his tail shows up on the back. A matching brown strap keeps the whole bag warm in tone and easy to pair with neutrals.
Ursula is rich purple with black accents. She takes up most of the front, tentacles included, and a single curled tentacle wraps the corner of the back panel. Red zip pulls add a small flash of colour. It’s the most theatrical design of the five, and it still sits quietly at your hip on the way to work.
