Jedi News reader Nate B. sends along the following update posted on the Matty Collector website that teases us with news of a Hot Wheels Star Wars exclusive that will available next month as a SDCC 2016 exclusive.
Hot Wheels® Star Wars™ SDCC Item – $50.00
All we can say is that it’s an all-new Hot Wheels® Star Wars™ item and it will be announced by Mattel and Lucasfilm in the next few weeks. It will be $50 at the show and, like all the Hot Wheels SDCC items, will be available in limited quantities at HotWheelsCollectors.com after the show, but it will not be part of the Matty pre-sale. It will be sure to thrill both Hot Wheels and Star Wars™ fans alike when it’s finally revealed!
What can this exclusive be? Last year Hot Wheels debuted their First Order Stormtrooper character car from The Force Awakens as a SDCC exclusive (the car was later available at retail without the protective plastic blister). Will this release focus on Episode VII again or maybe something from Rogue One?
