TFNY 2018: Basic Fun! (Uncle Milton) Inc. ‘Star Wars’ Skeleton Collection

By far one of the most interesting (and definitely most unique) booths we visited during Toy Fair NY was for a company called Basic Fun!, who acquired the Uncle Milton name as a division under their label. Uncle Milton is the manufacturer of creative scientific Star Wars themed toy experiences aimed at not only entertaining children, but enriching their minds as well.

On display at their booth was something that we’ve never seen before – a collection of Star Wars skeleton model kits that quite frankly blew us away. There were two product types in this skeleton line – complete skeletons of creatures and individual mini skulls based on various alien species from the GFFA. The complete skeleton models come packaged with scaled excavation tools that allow kids to dig up the bones just like a real archaeologist. According to Basic Fun!, their designers received approval from Lucasfilm to use real-world skeleton piece shapes to sort of “fill in the blanks” when creating these highly detailed model kits. The mini skulls are blind-packaged in plastic crates with a hinge on top.

Check out their skeleton collection below and prepare to be blown away as well!

Other new products on display included a Jakku inspired metal detector, a Jabba’s Palace Slime Lab, BB-8 electronic circuit game, and Star Wars Mashems (squidgy blind bagged stress balls).
