Toys ‘R’ Us UK Go Rogue With Midnight Madness Opening Events

We told you over a week ago that Midnight Madness was returning to the UK at Toys ‘R’ Us stores, and here’s the confirmation/press release from Toys ‘R’ Us. We’ve also been asked to advise that there is a limit of one of each item per customer at the midnight openings, while stock lasts.

Excitement is building as Toys”R”Us are set to celebrate the launch of brand new toys based on the first Star Wars standalone film “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” The toys are scheduled to hit Toys “R” Us shelves on September 30th.

Toysrus.co.uk is already counting down to the highly anticipated toy launch and will be the destination of new products, some of which are only available at the giant toy retailer.  On Friday 30th, 5 Toys“R”Us stores around the country will open their doors for special midnight opening celebrations, providing customers of all ages the opportunity to be among the first to purchase must-have merchandise, receive exclusive giveaways and immerse themselves in all things Star Wars.

The following five stores will open at 12:01 a.m. on Friday 30th;

  • Toys”R”Us Brent Cross – NW2 1LW
  • Toys”R”Us  Warrington – WA5 7TT
  • Toys”R”Us Bristol – BS34 5TU
  • Toys”R”Us Oldbury – B69 4RJ
  • Toys”R”Us Glasgow Helen Street – G51 3HR

As part of the toy store celebrations, the first 75 customers to line up at midnight at each of these stores will receive Star Wars giveaways, including a limited edition T-Shirt and poster, as well as the chance to be among the first to purchase exclusive Star Wars merchandise in dedicated front-of-store feature shops.

Also at midnight, shoppers will be able to browse and purchase the new products online at www.toysrus.co.uk.

PLEASE NOTE: there is a limit of one of each item per customer at the midnight openings, while stock lasts.

Jedi News will be at Brent Cross, Oldbury and Bristol (and possibly Glasgow) with some giveaways of our own, and we hope to see many of you there. Meanwhile in the US, James will be joining in the fun from the Atlanta branch of Toys ‘R’ Us – albeit five hours after the UK launch!
