Next up from the UK Toy Fair is vtech. vtech are a new Star Wars licensee for 2017 and they are bringing three products to market this year – 2 watches and a camera – all aimed at the younger market, although I expect to see quite a few collectors wearing these watches.
The First Order Stormtrooper watch won the category for Best Tech Toys at this year’s Toy Fair, and from what I saw I’d have to agree. Both watches (the other being BB-8) offer the same functionality which includes full Star Wars theming, camera for video and stills, built-in photo/video effects, voice features, motion sensor, mini games, watch, alarm, stopwatch, pedometer, calculator, calendar and more. Not bad for a price point just under £70.

The camera is just an impressive, and will be available at the same price. Expect all three products to ship early in the summer.
