The Mandalorian Wins 5 Creative Arts Emmy Awards

The Mandalorian has picked up five Creative Arts Emmy awards in the lead up to the main Primetime ceremony that tales place on September 20th, live on ABC. Congratulations to Matt Wood at Skywalker Sound, ILM and all involved, these are also the first Emmy awards for Disney+.

The show won awards for Best Cinematography for a single-camera series (half-hour), Best Production Design for a Narrative Program (half hour), Best Sound Editing for a Comedy or Drama Series (half-hour), Best Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (half-hour)  and Best Special Visual Effects.

It lost out on awards for Best Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes, Best Prosthetic Make Up for a Series (Limited Series, Movie or Special), and Best Single Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series.

The Mandalorian is up for additional awards, including Best Drama, at the main Primetime ceremony on September 20th — we wish all nominees good luck.
