With the last D23 Expo in 2019, we would expect the next convention in 2021 but due to COVID-19 the event will next take place in 2022 just three weeks apart from Star Wars Celebration and at the same venue, Anaheim Convention Center.

With the conventions so close to one another will there be different Star Wars content at D23 Expo and Celebration? Would you attend both shows so close to one another (it makes it harder for those that do not live in California)? This also assumes that the global pandemic is over by then, and that Celebration does not move again. We wait patiently to find out.
