We already know Disney+ will be delivering new projects centered around Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor (a prequel series to Rogue One) and Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi (a limited series set between the events of Episode III and Episode IV). And the Star Wars animation medium will be continuing in 2021 with the upcoming series The Bad Batch that will be taking place in the post-Clone War era. And don’t forget about the new female-centric Star Wars series being developed by Leslye Headland.
However, there have been several other Star Wars projects rumored to be in the pipeline as well including a spinoff series featuring bounty hunter Boba Fett, a potential animated sequel series to Star Wars Rebels, a series starring Lando Calrissian, and a series featuring Cara Dune and/or Bo-Katan from The Mandalorian. Will we learn more about some/all of these rumored projects during the Disney presentation? Will Disney delight us all and reveal details on brand new Star Wars content that has not been rumored/heard previously?
We are hoping for lots of news about upcoming Star Wars shows for Disney+, new film information, and about the possible merger of Hulu and Disney+.
