The Fanboys reunion grows bigger at the third annual Rebel Scum Con at the Frisco Convention Center in Texas between August 7th and 9th, 2026, with Kyle Newman, the director of the cult classic film, announced as attending with Dan Fogler & Sam Huntington.
We’re thrilled to announce that Kyle Newman will be appearing at Rebel Scum Con 2026, joining Dan Fogler and Sam Huntington for a Fanboys reunion.
Fans know Kyle as the director of Fanboys, the cult classic road trip comedy that became a love letter to Star Wars fandom and an unforgettable favorite among fans everywhere.
Outside of Fanboys, Kyle is also known for directing Barely Lethal and 1UP, while continuing to make an impact as a writer, producer, and passionate advocate for geek culture.
