Congratulations to The Mandalorian’s Ludwig Göransson on winning the Oscar for best Original Score for Oppenheimer at tonight’s 96th Academy Awards in Hollywood. Oppenheimer won in seven categories including Best Actor, Director and Film.
Göransson beat fifty-four time Academy Award nominee John Williams for Best Score, the only nod for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Meanwhile, ILM failed to bring home the Oscar for Visual Effects, beaten by the team behind Godzilla Minus One.
The Boy and the Heron, featuring the dulcet tones of Mark Hamill as Granduncle, won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film.
Congratulations to all tonight’s winners.
