New York Comic Con 2020: Press Registration Opens April 13 at 12:00pm ET

As mentioned earlier in this post, Press badge registration for New York Comic Con 2020 will be opening later this month on April 13 at 12:00pm ET and will run until September 28. Applicants will be notified if they have been approved/denied within 21 business days of when they submit their application. We’ll be sure to update you with the registration link once it goes live, so stay tuned to Jedi News for that link on April 13.

Check out some of the important details copied below and then click here for more information. NYCC 2020 is scheduled for October 8-11 at the Javits Center.

Who Qualifies

NYCC press registration is open for journalists regularly making editorial contributions. Editorial press includes writers, reporters, reviewers, producers, photographers, videographers, etc. who are attending specifically to write about NYCC and/or cover the event for newspapers, magazines, TV and radio.

Press Badge Access

NYCC press badges provide complimentary access to NYCC and corresponding venues (that don’t include a separate ticket) for all four days of the event. Press badges are extended as a courtesy of NYCC. As with all ReedPOP events, NYCC is a fans first event which means your press badge allows access to panels as long as space is available.

Guidelines

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. You’ll be notified if you have been approved or denied within 21 business days of when you submitted your application. If approved, additional information will be provided in your confirmation email and receipt. Every individual applying for a NYCC press badge may only apply once.

The NYCC press application will be open from April 13 until September 28, unless we reach maximum capacity at an earlier date. We strongly recommend you apply early as once all press badges are allocated, no more will be released. There will be no onsite Press registration at NYCC.
