Oga’s Cantina at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland has reopened its doors following an 8-week refurbishment, bringing the timeline back to the original trilogy and removing references to the sequel trilogy and now defunct Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.
Two messages from the notice board near the door have been removed as part of the story. “Seeking Work? Check your datapad for jobs. No experience needed. You’re hired! Steady work and fair credits. Droids need not apply.” has been replaced by “Now Hiring, Cantina Manager Inquire at bar! No questions, including why the last one “quit.”” and “Mechanic Wanted! Experience with Chandrilan class 1 starships required. Ability to speak Shyriiwook a plus. Contact Captain R. Keevan of the Halcyon, CSL” is now “Make Some Quick Credits! Sell your Surplus! Imperial, Rebel, Republic, or Separatist – Black Spire Outpost will buy it all!”.
Also, dialogue referencing the First Order and the Resistance has been removed from DJ R-3X.
The full time shift to the original trilogy is set to come in on April 29th. Advance booking is no longer required for Oga’s Cantina which is open at Disneyland between 10am and 11pm daily.
