The late, great Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca, will be honoured at this weekend’s Space Cowboy Ball at the Bullock Musuem in Austin, Texas, on November 18th, as part of New Worlds 2023, with the Earth Light Philanthropy Award.
From helping a suffering child, supporting first responders, or supporting fan-based volunteer groups such as the costumed heroes of the 501st, or the Rebel Legion, who bring smiles and attention to real heroes and charities making life better for humanity, we honor Peter Mayhew.
A limited number of tickets are available if you would like to attend the Space Cowboy Ball with astronauts and engineers and scientists paving the way for humanity in space, you can purchase tickets here.
