Hello Magazine has shared some images of this morning’s investiture ceremony where Warwick Davis was awarded an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire), seen with Prince William chatting at eye level with the star of Harry Potter, Star Wars and Willow.
Warwick, 56, is known for his career in acting spanning over 40 years, and was recognised for his services to drama and charity.
He previously received the Bafta Fellowship, saying at the time: “This is the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I’ve been in Star Wars.” He dedicated the award to his wife, Samantha, who died in 2024.
Warwick was born with an extremely rare form of dwarfism called spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita (SED).
